8th World Congress on polyphenols applications

The 8th World Congress on polyphenols applications will be held in Lisbon, Portugal on 5-6 June and it will be focused on the latest scientific advances in the field of polyphenols and their uses to improve human health.
The following topics are covered:
  • Synthesis, characterization and stability of polyphenols
  • Polyphenols & Waste Valorisation from Fruits and Vegetables Processing
  • Polyphenols and Redox State Modulation
  • Polyphenols, Brain and Neurodegenerative Diseases

  • Natural Polyphenols as co-products in Biorefineries
In this context, we present the results of our research on the Synthesis of new ferrocene-dehydrozingerone conjugates and evaluation of their biological activity as a poster communication. This work resulted from a collaboration of ICB-CNR, ISPA-CNR and University of Sassari and it was financially supported by Sardinia Autonomous Region - L.R. 7 August 2007, n. 7.
